Epson's pioneering digital photo technology is an expansion of the original launched in March 2001.
Print Image Matching II (PIM II) is Epson's pioneering digital photo technology and is an expansion of the original launched in March 2001 PIM II automatically optimises digital photos from the PIM II equipped digital cameras, creating quality prints possible
With the addition of 'noise reduction' control and 'custom scene' settings, up to 14 image control parameters can be saved by the camera.
PIM II can now also be implemented with TIFF images in addition to the more common JPEG capture film formats.
And because the new technology is backward compatible, it will allow users to utilise and interchange digital cameras supporting the original PIM technology.
