Epson's pioneering digital photo technology is an expansion of the original launched in March 2001.
Rouvillois brings to the position 15 years of experience in the graphic arts and digital printing industries.
Alain Flament, the chief marketing officer of Nipson, said: "Rouvillois has strong technical expertise as well as extensive sales, marketing and management experience.
His understanding of large business accounts at a national level and his strategic customer-service focus will largely benefit our installation base across France." Rouvillois' experience includes senior-level management positions at Oce France in its document and office printing systems divisions and at Schlumberger Graphics in its wide-format printing division.
He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the ESME Sudria in Paris.
Rouvillois commented: "Nipson is committed to market-driven innovations and products that drive the business of its end-users.
I was very impressed with the Nipson Varypress line introduced at Drupa last year and I am looking forward to working with our customers to successfully integrate that technology in to their operations.".
