At the Spring Fair exhibition at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham (UK) - stand H28 - Epson will be showing its Stylus Pro 3800 desktop A2+ printer.

The Stylus Pro 3800 is claimed by Epson to be the smallest in its class, making it suitable for companies with limited space Said to be designed for ease of use it provides for auto-switch between photographic and matte black inks, high capacity individual ink cartridges for overnight print runs and a range of print sizes from A6 to A2 and over

At the other end of Epson's large format range, the company will also be exhibiting its Stylus Pro 11880, which is claimed to enable printing up to 64" wide.

It features Epson's Ultrachrome K3 ink with Vivid Magenta, the latest development in pigment chemistry, which is said to ensure a wide colour gamut.

The permanent Epson Micro Piezo printhead is said by the company to provide consistency in each print, with each print the same as the first, even if the artwork is printed a few months apart, making the system suitable for studios producing limited edition print runs.

According to the company, the Stylus Pro 11880 is compatible with Epson's substrates up to 1.5mm in thickness, including glossy paper, matte paper, matte board, fine art paper, archival matte and plain paper.
