Digital Asset Management Boost From
Partnership
Extensis has formed a technology partnership with Equilibrium, a provider of automation software for rich media distribution.
Following Extensis' capital investment in Equilibrium last April, the development is the first strategic technology partnership between Extensis' Portfolio digital asset management product line and Equilibrium's Mediarich range In the partnership, Extensis will OEM Equilibrium's Mediarich engine for integration in to a future release of Extensis' Portfolio Server

Mediarich will offer a more stable, scalable and faster system, whilst providing overall improved imaging capabilities from Portfolio.

Sean Barger, the chief executive officer of Equilibrium, commented: "We invested over two hundred man-years of research and development in Mediarich and it will help expand the functions of Portfolio so that current and new customers will gain significant benefits.".
