Danka and Kodak said that they have had a highly successful sales and service alliance with Kodak's line of Digimaster mono printing systems and the new agreement will enable Danka to increase its Digimaster sales in corporate, print for pay and government markets.
Kodak added that it will also enjoy sales growth for its Nexpress colour press systems in those markets through Danka's support.
"Danka's skilled and effective sales and service organisations are extending their long track record of success with our Digimaster systems, whilst Kodak is seeing increased direct sales success in its core commercial printing markets," said Venkat Purushotham, managing director for digital printing at the Kodak Graphic Communications Group (GCG).
"We look forward to supporting the growth of Danka's sales in to its key markets and enlisting its support of the sales success of our colour products," he added.
Todd Mavis, president and chief executive officer of Danka, added: "This expanded strategic supplier relationship with Kodak builds upon our managed print services strategy by capturing a larger share of the production market for colour and mono printing.
This strategy will be driven by our highly regarded organisation of systems engineers and print sales specialists worldwide.".
