Oviedo has more than 25 years of experience in international sales, marketing, distribution and logistics.
In the INSEAN Region, Oviedo will have overall responsibility for managing the GCG operations, including customer relations and expanding business opportunities for Kodak's digital and conventional systems for the graphic communications industry.
Oviedo was most recently managing director for the Latin American region, and vice president of GCG.
He had been vice president and general manager of the Latin American region for Kodak Polychrome Graphics, which Kodak acquired in 2005.
Prior to that, Oviedo spent more than 20 years in Latin America, Asia and Europe with Weidmuller and Schneider Electric.
He replaces Garron Helman, who announced he plans to leave Kodak.
Andrew Copley, managing director of Kodak GCG global sales and operations, and vice president of Eastman Kodak, said: "Gustavo Oviedo has lived in both Singapore and Thailand, serving customers across Asia.
He has an intimate knowledge of the strength of the GCG portfolio and he is very familiar with the business climate in the INSEAN Region.
He is a proven leader with GCG, and brings energy and expertise to this new assignment." Oviedo said: "This is an exciting opportunity and I'm looking forward to making Kodak's GCG an even stronger force in the Asian printing community.

He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
He will lead the INSEAN Region from Singapore.
