Jeff Hayzlett, chief marketing officer and vice president of Kodak's Graphic Communications Group (GCG), has been elected to the board of the Business Marketing Association (BMA).

Hayzlett will be a member of BMA's executive committee and will serve as its vice president of marketing.

With 25 years of international marketing, sales and customer relations management experience in the graphic communications industry, Hayzlett leads all marketing activities for Kodak's GCG, including product positioning, segment marketing, branding, marketing communications and customer development, said the company.

He is also responsible for business research, marketing strategy and business development activity for GCG.

John Favalo, chairman of BMA's international board of directors, said: "Jeff Hayzlett will be an impact player for the BMA.

We targeted Jeff for the key marketing role on our board because of his vision and his involvement at the strategic level with a business in transformation.

He will add real value to our members who count on the BMA to help them improve the effectiveness of B2B marketing in their organisations." Hayzlett commented: "Being on the board of BMA allows me to access some of the best minds in business today.

In addition to the BMA board, Hayzlett has roles in a number of other business and marketing organisations, including the Contract Packaging Association, Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI) Foundation for Marketing Education, Pi Sigma Epsilon National Education Foundation, Printing Industries Centres Insurance (UK), Printing Industry of America PrintPAC and the Public Relations Society of America.

The BMA was formed in 1922 as a service organisation for professionals in business marketing and has connected members with the knowledge, people and programmes that make achieving their companies' objectives more efficient and effective.

The BMA's vision is to be the primary repository of the best in business to business marketing information and resources, whilst attracting the best practitioners and promoting the best practices in the industry.
