Kodak's Flexcel NX digital flexographic system is one of 10 products to win a PIA/GATF Intertech Technology Award.
The Kodak systems that rated highly with the committee included Colorflow (must see), together with the Versamark D-series printing systems (DS5222 and DS5340) and the Thermal Direct non-process printing plate, which were equally classified.
Other products were rated as 'still worth a look' by the committee - the Web-to-Unified Printing system, the Nexpress 2500 digital colour press, Prinergy PDF Compare and PDF Merge software and the Prinergy Layered PDF Versioning System (version 3).
Jeffrey Hayzlett, the chief marketing officer at Kodak's Graphic Communications Group, commented: "Every year, the 'must see' programme highlights the latest technology trends shaping the industry.
We're very happy that these graphic communications experts recognize Kodak products from across our entire portfolio as leading the way in helping print providers grow their businesses." Kodak's Graph Expo stand included those products and other new, enhanced and established digital printing, inkjet printing, thermal computer to plate, colour proofing and workflow systems.
