Kodak Versamark's marketing operations manager Monteen Jones will present a seminar on using statements as a marketing tool at The International Direct Marketing Fair (IDMF) in London The presentation will take place in the Digital Print Pavilion on February 22

Jones commented: "Transaction documents have typically been viewed as a core business application and an important customer communications tool.

Contacts and order documents, receipts and delivery notices and statements all play an important role in the information value chain.

With the emergence of affordable high-speed digital colour technologies such as Kodak Versamark, print service providers are now working with clients to expand their transaction printing business into a direct marketing opportunity.

The statement offers a tremendous consistent communication opportunity to reduce call centre activity and associated support costs." Digital print will be a key focus of IDMF, as the event will have its first-ever Digital Print Pavilion in association with the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF).

IDMF will be at Earls Court on February 22, 23 and 24 February.
