The company said that Koeckeis provides extensive know-how of the high-speed print market.
Prior to joining Kodak Versamark, Koeckeis directed European marketing and sales at Printsoft Systems, handling positions of increasing responsibility over a 15-year period.
Itzhak Savariego said: "Robert brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing expertise and will be instrumental in developing the commercial strategy to jumpstart our next growth phase in Europe.
He will work in tandem with Monteen Jones, who has been a driving force in our European marketing and communications programmes." Educated as a technical engineer, one of Koeckeis's immediate objectives is to help Kodak Versamark's customers educate their customers about the affordability and strategic advantage of mass production in colour.
Koeckeis said: "In October we will present roundtable seminar programs, hosted at our customers' premises throughout major cities in Europe and explain how innovative direct mailing applications can effectively integrate colour for high-impact variable mailing or transactional documents.
We want to bring the colour definition in to the production market, showing that it's easy and cost-effective to create colour mailings from scratch." He added that he intends to extend the company's current success via the development of a Host-2-Post workflow that encompasses data input through final envelope output.
He will also focus on expanding the company's sales and distribution efforts in Eastern Europe and Russia.
