News monitor is a unique, simple to use system, which controls every element of the Newsetter System and enables the user to have full command of the platemaking operation The News Monitor system has a database in which every event is recorded
If required, maintenance staff can be automatically called and there is a remote link via modem to the KPG service and support centres.
The plate tracking software now provides a web browser interface to the News Monitor system which allows, for example, the press room minders to know exactly at what stage in the production cycle each plate required is.
Secondly, using the web browser, the minder can order a plate remake completely independently of the normal workflow.
