The KPG System combines Profire Excel imaging quality with the simplicity and automation of a DI Press The Directpress 5634 is claimed to enhance production efficiency by incorporating Kodak Polychrome Graphics' (KPG) Directworks workflow
Directworks is said to enable colour management across a variety of output technologies to deliver more accurate and consistent colour regardless of output device.
It streamlines operations by automating pre-press activities such as pre-flight, colour correction, trapping, imposition, approval and ripping.
Following its launch at Drupa, KPG said its Directpress 5634 had been well received in the USA market, with several installs already announced.
KPG will demonstrate the Directpress at its Graph Expo booth - 4031.
