Steve Davies, head of sales and marketing at Southampton FC explained: "As the football club continues to expand its commercial activities and with an increasing volume of club literature and direct marketing requirements it was important for us to find a print management partner who could provide additional value both in terms of price and quality.
The contract signed with Etrinsic means that we can rely on the company to find the best printer for each job." Southampton finished 12th in the FA Premier League last season and has more than 20,000 season ticket holders.
In 2003, the club posted turnover of £48.8m.
As well as match fixtures, the club's St Mary's Stadium hosts hundreds of non-footballing events throughout the year.
Other major activities include financial services and a community programme.
Etrinsic supplies a range of print and logistics services including design, printing, direct mail, storage and distribution.
The company said it manages more than 650 million printed documents annually for its clients.
