Exstream Software launched two products at the AIIM/On Demand Conference and Exposition in Boston - Dialogue 6.0 and Dialogue Live document automation software.

Dialogue Live is said to provide a common infrastructure for managing the editing of all types of interactive documents.
It also automates integration of field-edited documents with centralised corporate systems and document production.
Companies are claimed to benefit by eliminating point solutions and manual fulfilment processes in the field, resulting in more productive employees, reduced costs, less strain on IT resources and fewer calls to customer service.
Dialogue Live is said to be suitable for companies that want to provide customer-facing employees with the flexibility and autonomy they need to complete interactive point-of-need personalised documents for clients, whilst ensuring accuracy and costs are controlled through centralised production and fulfilment.
Neal Gottsacker, vice president of product management for Exstream, commented: "Much as Dialogue leap-frogged document creation technology when it was first introduced in 1999, we believe Dialogue Live will do the same thing in 2007 for interactive documents.
Four early adopter customers are already using Dialogue Live, and we have a very robust pipeline for companies that have been eagerly awaiting its release." He continued: "Additionally, Dialogue 6.0 at this event has emerged out of a 15-month development cycle that included testing and deployment by over 75 customers in our managed release programme.
Dialogue 6.0 includes numerous significant enhancements.".
