Westferry Printers has ordered a range of Ferag equipment from WRH Marketing UK following an assessment of the post-press facilities at its London site.
Printing titles such as the Daily Express, Daily Star and Sport Newspapers, Westferry Pronter has ordered seven Ferag Smartstrap SSP in-line strapping systems and KPZ40 underwrapping machines, as well as seven Affeldt top sheet labelling machines, scheduled soon for delivery.
Production and project manager at Westferry printer, Mick Crawley, said: 'We've been a Ferag customer for 20 years so have a long standing and successful working relationship with both Ferag and WRH Marketing UK.
We knew that our post-press equipment needed to be updated significantly to be able to meet future production scenarios and increase efficiency in that area, while making some savings on energy, wrap and strap.
