The organiser of FESPA World Expo India 2005, in New Delhi from December 1-4 has reported a positive response from the marketplace since the launch of the exhibition.

Already, FESPA has seen a number of key European and Indian companies sign-up to the event, which is aimed at the Indian, Middle Eastern and Asian screen printing and wide format digital imaging markets.

SaatiPrint, Encres Dubuit and Thieme are among those companies to have already included the event in their 2005 marketing programme said the organsier.

In addition, Sunstar Graphics, manufacturer of 'Sunglpo Printing Inks and agents for the likes of Natgraph Dryers, Atma Screen Equipment and Matan Digital Printers, have also committed to the event.

Commenting on the interest so far, Frazer Chesterman, FESPA exhibitions director, said: "To have the support of such major players at this early stage is recognition for the huge potential FESPA World Expo India 2005 has within the region.

We are talking to a number of other companies, to whom the event will be relevant and we expect to sign contracts on these very soon." Chesterman added that the organisation team behind FESPA's Indian initiative would be attending Printpack India 2005 in New Delhi next January to promote FESPA's event within the region.
