2005 Screen Printing Awards Announced
Details of the FESPA 2005 Premier Awards competition, which recognises and rewards excellence in screenprinting and wide-format digital imaging production, have been announced.
FESPA exhibitions director Frazer Chesterman said: "These are ground breaking numbers compared to the previous show in Madrid.
With such an impressive line-up of industry leading exhibitors and a host of new initiatives incorporated to enhance the visitor experience, we are expecting around 30,000 visitors from across the globe.
We have already had 15,000 on-line pre-registrations to date and are currently receiving an exceptional 1,500 or more a week." He continued to say that the exhibition team had made it a key objective over the past two years to turn FESPA 2005 from a stand alone exhibition to an interactive event with an extensive line-up of free educational seminars, debates and workshops conducted by industry experts.
Chesterman added: "FESPA 2005 will offer visitors the opportunity to learn about the latest industry developments and issues on a wide selection of topics.
There will be a VIP programme, the Premier Awards event and an affiliated youth competition, and visitors will be able to obtain a free copy of our show daily magazine, which will be produced and distributed on the show floor.
That will be an invaluable tool to keep visitors abreast of the major product launches planned as well as other announcements that break during the show." FESPA said that it has made sure that visitors to the show are able make the most out of their investment in time and money by providing an on-line catalogue on the FESPA 2005 website where they will be able to create a shopping list of companies they would like to see.
