FESPA Digital Print Show Now 45% Booked

Bookings for exhibitor space at the FESPA Digital Printing Europe 2006 exhibition have already exceeded the organiser's expectations, with 45 per cent of stand space allocated in less than four weeks.

Bookings for exhibitor space at the FESPA Digital Printing Europe 2006 exhibition have already exceeded the organiser's expectations, with 45 per cent of stand space now allocated in less than four weeks.

Following research of FESPA's exhibitor base, the specialised event will focus on the increasing and diverse sphere of print applications offered by emerging digital technology.

The exhibition will take place at the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam (Netherlands) from May 16 - 18, next year.

Bedigital Llumicolor, Colorspan, Esko-Graphics, Gandi and Nur are among the exhibitors that quickly obtained space at the show following its official introduction at the recent sell-out FESPA 2005 exhibition in Munich.

Frazer Chesterman, FESPA's exhibitions director, commented: "We are delighted by the immediate enthusiasm surrounding the launch of FESPA Digital printing Europe 2006.

This is perhaps attributable in no small measure to the huge success of FESPA 2005 in Munich, which once again firmly underscored FESPA's track record and experience in organising and delivering world class events." Amongst those companies exhibiting at next year's event is the supplier of wide-format inkjet printing systems, Nur Macroprinters.

Commenting on the show, the company's marketing and sales support manager, Thibault Dejaiffe, said: "As a long-time FESPA exhibitor we were pleased to hear that a dedicated show for industrial printing technology is to be delivered.

This is a huge growth area for us and the opportunity to demonstrate our capability in front of a guaranteed multi-regional audience is something we can't afford to miss." That is a view echoed by Basile Fattal, the marketing and communication manager of wide format inkjet manufacturer, Colorspan, who commented: "The fact that FESPA seeks to continually stay abreast of the marketplace in order to correctly address the needs of manufacturers is important to us.

As such, a manufacturer operating in the digital printing sector, Digital Printing Europe 2006 is the prime arena for us to exhibit our technology." Sandra Buxade, the export manager, of Spanish wide format manufacturer, Bedigital Llumicolor, is equally appreciative of what the event offers: "Right now, FESPA is the most important global show for us in terms of guaranteeing a high quality visitor audience.
