Visitors to FESPA India in December will have the opportunity to experience a showcase of Indian screen and digital printing expertise, thanks to the FESPA India Premier Awards competition.

The competition aims to honour excellence in the sector and provide an enriched experience to visitors, highlighting the vivid results that can be achieved using screen and digital printing as well as the diverse applications available, according the FESPA.

The competition is divided in to various categories, such as point of purchase products, large format graphics, calendars, postcards, glass, ceramics and wood.

The entries will be judged on the basis of technical complexity and standard of quality by a panel of judges comprising national and international experts from the industry.

Ensuring the judging process is completely fair and neutral, each entry will be allocated a special number code so that the participants' identities remain confidential.

The winning entries will be displayed in a special gallery in hall 9 during the exhibition at Pragati Maidan, and a prize giving ceremony will take place in the product overview theatre in the same hall on December 3.

Bhargav Mistry, vice president of Screen Print Association in India (SPAI) said: "The FESPA India Premier Awards is an ideal platform for Indian screen and digital printers to demonstrate their expertise, not only to visitors in the region but also to the international exhibitor base.

With so many world-class screen and digital printers operating in India, the Premier Awards highlight and pay tribute to the talent and wealth of experience in the industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for the awards participants to raise their business profile and explore business prospects both at home as well as abroad.".
