Visitors who pre-register before March 31 to attend FESPA 2007 will not only gain free entry to the exhibition itself but also stand a chance of winning tickets to the event's gala evening, on June 8.

FESPA 2007 is to be staged in Berlin (Germany) from June 5 - 9.

Registrations for the show received before March 31 will be entered in to a draw to win one of 10 pairs of tickets to the primary social event of FESPA 2007.

The 10 winners and their invited companions will join around 500 guests for an evening of gastronomy and dancing.

For those not lucky in the prize draw, tickets are available at EUR49, which includes a champagne reception and buffet.

Following a black and white theme, the FESPA 2007 gala evening will reflect 'Fifties cool', in the style of Rat Pack stars like Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.

To add to the atmosphere, a jazz and Latin music style dance band will play and a Las Vegas-style casino area will be created.

Reflecting FESPA's expanding portfolio of global events, guests will be able to choose from different cuisine including European, Indian and Asian buffets.

Frazer Chesterman, FESPA exhibitions director, said: "The FESPA gala evening is always an enjoyable and fun way to unwind and mingle with industry peers towards the end of a very busy exhibition.

In Berlin, we'll move away slightly from the formal format of previous FESPA gala dinners to provide a more relaxed feel that allows visitors and exhibitors to network more freely, whilst still enjoying five-star cuisine and entertainment." The FESPA gala evening will also mark the end of Hellmuth Frey's FESPA presidency and his formal hand-over to incoming president, Anders Nilsson.
