Top Speakers Line Up For FESPA 2005 Show
For the first time in the exhibition's history, FESPA 2005 - to be held in Munich (Germany) next June - will include a series of free seminars and workshops.
Abbott is said to have several years' experience in sales roles in the UK and the Far East and she will work on all FESPA accounts.
However, with fluency in English, Taiwanese, Mandarin and Cantonese and with conversational Japanese, she will focus mainly on the Asian marketplace, as FESPA's presence continues to grow in that region.
That growth has been shown by the addition of Japan and Korea as member associations and has been further emphasised in the build-up to the FESPA Asia-Pacific exhibition in Bangkok (Thailand) which will run from November 28 - 30 2008.
Abbott's role will entail liaising with exhibitors, exploring new prospects and business development.
Marcus Timson, event director on the FESPA Asia-Pacific exhibition, commented: "We are confident that Nova's experience will contribute significantly to the continued success of the sales team and the organisation as a whole.
As the leading event organiser for the international screen and digital printing industry, we are constantly looking to grow our global network, particularly in emerging markets, such as Asia-Pacific.
With her excellent sales track-record, multi-lingual skills and cultural knowledge of the region, Nova's appointment re-affirms FESPA's commitment to Asia-Pacific, as we look to continue building our community of vendors and print service providers there." With its increased level of sales activity, FESPA has also appointed French speaking Katherine Parkhouse as sales administrator and credit controller to support the team.
She will also report to Frazer Chesterman. Request free introductory details about products from FESPA ...
