FESPA's first global technology partner has been named with Xaar, the supplier of inkjet printheads, inks and peripheral equipment, being appointed.

According to FESPA, as global technology partner, Xaar will have the opportunity to be involved in FESPA organised digital debates and networking opportunities, whilst also being able to present and participate in technology and business seminars.

The company will also be referenced in FESPA promotional material.

Xaar will support FESPA's global events, including the Director's Forum in Budapest (Hungary) from February 28 - 29, 2008 and FESPA's Digital Printing Europe 2008 show in Geneva (Switzerland) from April 1 - 3, next year.

Xaar will also be involved in the FESPA World Expo Asia Pacific 2008 in Bangkok (Thailand) from November 28 - 30, 2008.

Marcus Timson, FESPA's corporate communications director, said: "FESPA has a strong commitment to educate and inform, promoting best practice and bringing together stakeholders in the screen and digital printing community.

As such, it is vital that we have the strongest possible links with leading edge technology developers and acknowledged market experts.

Being a partner with Xaar in this way will help FESPA to provide our national associations and their members with access to new ideas, guidance and deep inkjet market knowledge." Elena Knight, Xaar's marketing communications manager, commented: "Xaar is very excited about becoming FESPA's first global technology partner.

It is a demonstration of Xaar's committed and integrated approach to engaging with our key markets across Europe, India and Asia Pacific.

Aligning with another key brand in the imaging industry, such as FESPA, provides us with a high profile and focused approach to our communication strategy.

Xaar will be providing access to our innovative technology and insights in to the future of the industry.".
