Digital Printing Can Double Turnover For
Firms
Companies that own digital printing equipment have double the turnover of printing firms that have no digital systems, according to new research released by FESPA.
The research also revealed that whilst the digital printing market is poised to grow 7.5 per cent annually, because less than 50 per cent of survey respondents have digital wide format printing, there is a significant opportunity for wide format digital printing equipment growth That is reinforced, according to the report, because 57 per cent of those companies surveyed indicated that they plan to invest in a new wide format printer in the next 12 months

The organisation said that 400 respondents in 66 countries across six continents participated in the survey.

Indian Wide Format And Screen Show Takes Off
The organiser of FESPA World Expo India 2005, in New Delhi from December 1-4 has reported a positive response from the marketplace since the launch of the exhibition.
The report measures digital print's penetration in to the screen printing market segments, whilst it identifies the leading technology types in those markets and provides information on purchasing plans and printing volumes.
The research also provides perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing the European screen and digital wide format printing markets.

Timson will hold an interactive question and answer session on the Wide Survey at the FESPA Digital Printing Europe 2008 exhibition in Geneva (Switzerland) from April 1 - 3 as part of the Showcase Theatre line-up on April 2.
The organisation added that the session will give visitors the opportunity to discuss key areas of business development in the digital printing industry, principal commercial and technological concerns, main growth applications, investment in digital output and workflow technology and the future of the industry.
