Drupa Will See Fujifilm's Cause Celebra
Drupa 2004 will see Fujifilm release its next generation Celebra Extreme PDF, digital printing, digital proofing and CTP workflow systems.
According to the company, that has been driven by an increase in its digital plate business resulting in significant UK market share growth.
Keith Dalton, director of Fujifilm UK, commented: "The growth Fuji has achieved is over and above market rates.
Printers now recognise that Fujifilm has the strongest portfolio of plate products in the industry and our success reflects this position.
This was highlighted at Ipex 2006." Fujifilm is using 2006 as a consolidation platform for its graphics businesses across inkjet, digital and litho print.
It has undergone a corporate name change to Fujifilm Holdings, which is an umbrella name for the companies it owns in synergistic industries including Fuji Hunt, Fujifilm Sericol and Fuji Xerox.
Keith Dalton added: "With a new plate line opening later this year at our European facility in Tilburg and a new research and development factory in Japan, Fuji has built an excellent platform for future growth.
This began at Ipex, which was a great success for the company, with the demonstration of the Brillia HD Pro-T and Pro-V plates and a completely new workflow, which has been built using JDF from the ground up.".
