In a move to further expand the use of self-adhesive labelling in all its forms, FINAT, the worldwide trade association for the industry, is launching its Labelling Vision newsletter.
The newsletter, according to FINAT, will identify new uses and techniques to existing and potential customers.
Jules Lejeune, the managing director of FINAT, said: "Our members are making so many advances in techniques that it is difficult for label users to keep up-to-date and Labelling Vision is intended to put them in to this ever-expanding picture." The first edition will be published in early June to coincide with FINAT's 2006 World Congress, being held in Warsaw (Poland) between June 7 and 9.
Besides introducing FINAT to potential new users of self adhesives, the first edition examines the use of the labels as a marketing aid and their use in the global drinks industry.
It also introduces the latest news on technical testing and showcases in the first ever FINAT end-user seminar (in Amsterdam on November 29) that will be a face-to-face exposition of their versatility.
