Self-Adhesive Label Organisation Boosts
Membership
FINAT is expecting that its membership will pass the 500 mark following a year where it has been successful in attracting new members.
The worldwide trade association for the self adhesive label industry, which will celebrate its 50th Anniversary next year, said it is seeing the benefits of globalisation with new members signing up from as far away as Russia, India and Brazil Currently, membership is drawn from almost 500 countries on all five continents Last month at the label industry's event in Brussels, Labelexpo Europe 2007, FINAT saw its membership increase again

FINAT has commissioned to research the third edition of a major international study of label buyers in end-user companies, including product manufacturers and major retailers.
FINAT commented that the benefits of membership includes representation at European Union level on environmental and trade issues, a range of technical and general publications, an intranet site for members only, a platform for industry representatives to meet their counterparts at conferences and seminars and smaller scale meetings.
There is also a range of educational tools and services to support market and management development for its members.
Jan Frederik Vink, FINAT's president explained: "With 50 years of service to our industry we are heartened by the new impetus and momentum that surrounds our industry as we prepare for our 50th anniversary conference next year in Paris.".
