Printfactory Dflux automates print tasks

Four Pees has announced the availability of Printfactory Dflux, a modular automation solution designed to streamline large-format print production.

The product will be showcased to the large-format printing market at Fespa.

Printfactory Dflux is an automation solution based on Enfocus and Callas Software technologies that takes repetitive tasks out of the hands of the operator, increasing efficiency and reducing errors.

It provides a full automation platform and an easy-to-use interface to automate any action, from file reception and routing, file standardisation, PDF checking and correction, to file delivery or output.

Printfactory Dflux interacts with applications such as Adobe Creative Suite and supports automatic file standardisation of a series of incoming file formats.

Four Pees said this greatly reduces the amount of errors and file make-ready time.

Printfactory Dflux comes with predefined, practical, and usable flows that help large-format production companies getting a head start in implementing automation within their organisation.

These flows automate anything from a specific action, such as file conversion to PDF, to an entire process such as the file and colour standardisation of incoming files.

Printfactory Dflux has several optional modules.

Output Automation offers Indesign Server-based high-volume output automation of PDF and other publishing file formats.

Colour Standardisation offers a set of Devicelink profiles to standardise colour of campaigns on different media.

Image Optimisation is an automatic image optimisation module that standardises and improves the quality of images, even inside PDFs.
