Fujifilm Graphic Systems has launched enhancements to Remote Approval, its internet-based proofing product.

Fujifilm Graphic Systems has launched enhancements to Remote Approval, its internet-based proofing product The new features include extended ICC support, closer integration with the user's workflow and simplified administration

The ICC support in Remote Approval has now been extended.

In addition to downloading an ICC colour managed proof at the remote site client, users can now apply ICC profiles to their monitors.

That can be done using tools such as Colorsync to improve the colour rendition of soft proofs, said Fujifilm.

Using Remote Approval, as clients approve pages, the associated impositions can be released automatically from the workflow to proof or plate.

As well as being quicker and simpler for all involved, the streamlined and automated production process leads to increased productivity, in the company's opinion.

Fujifilm added that job templates can now be saved and called up for use at a later date.

That makes it easier and quicker to set an approval cycle as future jobs can be set up quickly using existing templates.
