Fujifilm has announced the launch of the Luxel V-6e, the latest addition to its B2 violet photopolymer CTP family.

Building on the success of the Luxel Violet CTP series that now exceeds 1000 installations worldwide, Fujifilm has announced the launch of the Luxel V-6e, the latest addition to its B2 violet photopolymer CTP family.

The introduction of the Luxel V-6e B2 Violet platesetter is in response to an expanding market segment that requires a high quality, affordable solution that is fully upgradeable to meet ever changing print requirements.

The Luxel V-6e has been designed to give unparalleled quality and low cost of ownership from day one.

However, it has also been designed with the future in mind.

The V-6e is fully modular, with upgrade options designed to expand the workflow and automation, improve the productivity and take advantage of the forthcoming no-compromise Fuji Brillia PRO-V chemistry-free violet plate.

Suitable for high quality commercial printers and trade shops, the Luxel V-6e offers a highly flexible format size from 279mm x 381mm up to 765mm x 686mm, allowing creation from some duplicator sizes right up to the largest of the B2 presses.

The new device introduces a top vertical load system in manual and semi-automatic variants for offline or online plate production, which reduces footprint and eliminates the need for the typical front feed table.

The 'no compromise on quality' philosophy from Fujifilm ensures class-leading imaging, repeatability and accuracy, through the use of the Fujifilm violet laser imaging technology.

Key customer benefits offered by the range are: fully modular - manual to semi automatic to fully automatic configurations; productivity upgrades from 10 to 15 to 20 plates per hour; high quality internal drum plate imaging; lower cost of ownership from Violet technology; Fujifilm designed laser pen for maximum laser efficiency and longer laser life; small footprint; and 2400dpi and 1200dpi standard resolutions with others available as optional extras.

The Luxel V-6e is commercially available now through Fujifilm's network of dealers.
