Fujifilm Graphic Systems has announced that Northampton-based Guildhall Press has chosen Fuji's processless thermal CTP plate, Brillia HD PRO-T.

Andrew Rodgers, managing director, Guildhall Press says: "Since using the PRO-T plate we haven't had a single issue and my original concept of moving to processless has now become a hassle-fee reality" "Key benefits of using the Fuji plate have been savings in time, water, ink and paper but worth more than all of this, is the knowledge that the product won't let us down"

"Fuji's technical expertise and the PRO-T plate have been exceptional." Guildhall Press uses Fuji's Brillia HD PRO-T thermal CTP plate on its Screen PlateRite 4100 thermal platesetter to print high quality brochures for the pharmaceutical, building and estate agency markets as well as security print for a national business chain.

Fuji's Brillia HD PRO-T is a no compromise high definition processless plate.

With some processless plates, productivity is halved, but with Brillia HD PRO-T printers can benefit from the same productivity and the same quality as they would get from conventional plates.

The plate is also 'true' processless - there are no processors or gumming units required and therefore no maintenance, chemistry or chemistry disposal costs to worry about and more space.

More importantly, no changes on press are required - make-ready and the press wash-up is the same.
