Fujifilm has said that demand for its Brillia HD Pro-T thermal processless plate has again increased following a successful showing at the Apex Digital Graphics open days The Apex event was held in Hemel Hempstead (UK)

Jim Dale, dealer manager at Fujifilm Graphic Systems, commented: "We are extremely pleased that we were able to show the Brillia HD Pro-T plate at these open days.

The feedback we received was excellent and matches what our customers are saying to us.

There is no productivity reduction with Pro-T, quality and consistency is excellent and the savings made in environmental terms are really worth it." Fuji's Brillia HD PRO-T plates are claimed to be capable of being imaged using the same power as Fuji's existing thermal processed plate at 120mJ per square centimetre, resulting in the same production speeds.

Claimed to be compatible with most thermal (830nm) platesetters and approved for one per cent - 99 per cent at 200 lines per inch (lpi) conventional, 300lpi hybrid and FM screening, Brillia HD PRO-T is a non-ablative plate that carries a latent image with distinct contrast allowing visual inspection after imaging.
