Violet Photopolymer Plate For Newspapers Launched
Fujifilm Graphic Systems has launched its new CTP plate for the newspaper market - Brillia LP-NNV.
The Z3100 also offers what is said to be an easy print interface, which enables it to switch immediately between photo and matt black inks.
That is suitable for those working with both photo media and fine art canvases, for example.
Each model includes HP Vivera pigment inks, HP Quad-Black Inks for the creation of subtly toned black-and-white prints and neutral greys under different lighting conditions and a new HP 70 Gloss Enhancer to eliminate the problem of image bronzing.
The printer is fully compatible with all Fujifilm inkjet media, providing a claimed broad colour gamut on matt fine art papers and glossy photo papers for photographic and creative design applications.
The HP Designjet Z31000 will be showcased alongside Fujifilm's full range of Fujifilm/Epson Stylus Pro large format printers, with RIP (Raster Image Process) software.
Peter Hayward at Fujifilm said: "By offering two of the top brands in this market, we can provide our customers with a choice of the most appropriate system for their businesses and expand their media sales.
Whatever a customer's needs, we can offer the perfect system." Fujifilm will also be displaying a selection of its Fine Art Media range - including its Museum collection - and it will be providing demonstrations of its Image Hunter software, which has been updated to include an Easy Print Interface (EPI) and Photopack, a template creator for EPI.
Visitors to the stand can also take advantage of the latest Green Box Bundle, which features an Epson or HP printer, RIP software, a monitor profiling system, fine art media plus installation and training.
