Fujifilm Graphic Systems UK had a successful 2006 with a 10 per cent year-on-year revenue growth compared to 2005.

Fujifilm said its success has been based on continued product leadership in the pre-press market and customer service, with sales of CTP plates outperforming market growth.

That trend is set to continue as the UK continues to lead the world in the take-up of CTP and conversion to processless technology.

The company added that as it continues the roll-out of its Brillia HD Pro-T thermal processless plate, its development will continue.

In the past six months since the product's launch, Fujifilm has installed the plate in over 50 commercial printing accounts in the UK.

Keith Dalton, director of Fujifilm UK, commented: "With increasing raw material costs and reduced margins, 2006 has been a difficult year in the industry for suppliers and customers alike.

Against this background, Fujifilm has managed to grow its business, with our success coming from the superior products and technologies we offer and excellent technical support for customers." He added: "This year will see another exciting phase of our growth with new workflow, plate and CTP equipment coming on stream during the year and it will be further evidence of Fujifilm raising the bar again in terms of productivity, quality and performance.".
