Fujifilm donates Taskero to PIA/GATF

A Fujifilm Graphic Systems product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Nov 6, 2008

Fujifilm has donated Taskero Universe 2.0, its monitoring and process control tool, to the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF).

Taskero Universe is a suite of performance analysis tools designed to give printers quality control across plants, from pre-press and into the pressroom.

Currently consisting of three components - Colorpath Verified, Server Performance Management and Hardware Performance Management - Taskero Universe 2.0 provides quality analysis and production trending as well as real-time information on the status of jobs, pre-press devices and their performance.

Additionally, it helps printers minimise remakes and downtime.

PIA/GATF will use Taskero Universe in its research facility, in training seminars and customer-focused programmes.

Taskero Universe's Colorpath Verified component will monitor all of the colour-accurate monitors, proofers and presses in one centralised business information portal.

Colorpath Verified is web-enabled, for access to important colour verification status of any job.
