Krause selects Fujifilm for UK and Ireland markets

A Fujifilm Graphic Systems product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Jun 14, 2010

Krause-Biagosch has appointed Fujifilm as its UK and Ireland market channel after the companies collaborated on CTP installations utilising Krause equipment with Fujifilm Brillia plates.

Fujifilm said that customers will continue to receive service and support provided by Direct to Plate, Krause's current sales, service and support wing in the UK.

It is claimed that the partnership will benefit customers looking for a one-stop-shop service and it is already providing better technical performance to customers because of the existing developments and continuing partnership at research and development level between Fujifilm and Krause-Biagosch.

An example of this work is Fujifilm's lo-chem Brillia Pro-VN newspaper plate which, when used in conjunction with the Krause LS Jet platesetter and Bluefin lo-chem plate processor, provides newspaper printers with a claimed environmentally-friendly system.

The system is said to eliminate water usage, as well as reducing chemistry usage by up to 70 per cent with a reduction in energy usage of up to 40 per cent.
