Making its UK debut at Focus on Imaging 2005, Fuji Hunt's CSC (Colour Service Center) is a marketing package bringing operation of Fujifilm and Epson Stylus Pro within reach of everyone in the imaging business.

The company claimed that whatever an outlet's main line of business, be it copyshop or studio, for instance, that finds a ready market for prints from 15cmx10cm (6"x4") up to 60cmx81cm (24"x32"), the CSC system would prove a major and highly profitable, asset.

At the heart of the CSC is Printhunter, a computer-based process that incorporates a counter-staff controlled touchscreen monitor and PC operating system to enable easy control of images for output via either the Stylus Pro 4000 or 7600 printers.

Printhunter is a self-contained system that includes all necessary software to enable an operator to produce prints via the touchscreen, while also controlling zoom, crop, red-eye elimination, outputting colour images as mono and sepia prints and utilising various templates for producing calendars, frames and greeting cards said the company.

Recognising that not everyone who buys a Stylus Pro large format inkjet printer also purchases a RIP, Fuji Hunt Digital Solutions offers the Greenbox to ensure maximum productivity and quality.

It is available for the Stylus Pro 4000, 7600 and 9600 printers and includes additional software, hardware and consumables.

The Focus show sees three new media products being added to the company's Professional range - Professional Board, Double-Sided Satin and Pearl Photo Paper.

Full detail of the products will be announced on the stand.

Completing the digital production cycle will be the Fujifilm Finescan A3 scanner range with CCD and XY scanning technology.

It is claimed to be the fastest scanner in its class and is said to be capable of achieving an optical resolution up to 2,743 dots per inch (dpi) - equivalent to allowing a scanned 35mm transparency to be enlarged in top quality up to 592mmx840mm (23.3"x33") poster size.
