Gane Brothers and Lane, Inc has introduced the Kivar 6, coloured Kraft paper.

Gane Brothers and Lane, Inc has introduced the Kivar 6, coloured Kraft paper.

The company said that Kivar 6 is engineered for high performance.

Its construction of virgin fibres is said to provide durability and that the new paper outperformed other similarly graded Kraft papers in tests for strength and pliability.

Gane believes that Kivar can be used as a liner, end sheet or as an inexpensive cover material and also as a cover material in packaging applications.

It is available in 67 different colours, ranging from muted to vivid hues, said Gane.

Kivar 6 is also claimed to provide colour consistency and that it can be decorated by embossing, silk screening, blind stamping or foil stamping.

The company added that the paper is competitively priced, compared with similarly graded papers.
