Gandinnovations has completed its higher resolution research and development on the Jeti 3m, 5m and UV flatbed model printers.

Gandinnovations has completed its higher resolution research and development on the Jeti 3m, 5m and UV flatbed model printers.

That has resulted in the company's latest technology offering what is claimed to be a true 400 dots per inch (dpi) or 600dpi output for each model.

Hary Gandy, the chief executive officer of worldwide sales at Ganinnovations, said: "Now the output from the Jeti will produce even sharper images and will compete with the traditional higher resolution inkjet printers." Gandy added that the Jeti series of printers output have faster speeds and lower ink cost than the traditional high resolution machines.

Gandinnovations is currently using 80 Pico litre Spectra print heads offering a claimed true 300dpi quality.

Now, with no additional cost to the customer, the company said it will offer on any new Jeti printer the option of getting a 50 (true 400dpi) or 30 (600dpi) Pico litre head, with an apparent result from the six-colour Jeti printers will be 800dpi or 1200dpi, respectively.

"We are really excited about the about the quality we can achieve.

Right now we can offer our customers who buy a new Jeti printer the true 400dpi or 600dpi option immediately, without any price increase.

Once again we have listened to our clients' needs and have responded," added Gandi.
