Gandinnovations will premiere the Jeti 1224 UV true flatbed printer and its enhanced Jeti 3150 UV flatbed printer at the International Sign Associations' Expo (ISA) The company will be on stand 1424 at the show, which runs from April 11-14

The Jeti 1224 UV true flatbed uses 24 spectra print heads to produce high speed graphics in six colours, with a claimed 1,200 dots per inch (dpi) resolution and achieves 40 square metres per hour (450 square feet per hour) in 'best' quality mode.

Said to have a true flatbed table, the use of linear motion to control movement is said to ensure perfect registration on rigid and flexible materials.

The four feet x eight feet print area allows easy loading and unloading of large and heavy material and can be performed by one person.

A vacuum table holds virtually any rigid material in place up to 5cm (two inches) in thickness, added the company.

The Jeti 3150 Enhanced UV flatbed printer is claimed by Gandinnovations to achieve 40 square metres (450 square feet) at 'best' quality.

at the same time, 24 or 48 spectra print heads provide high speed graphics in six colours with 1,200dpi.

White and clear varnish are now standard options on the Jeti 1224 and 3150 flatbeds, said the company.

That way, users can print with the six-colour option and switch to white or clear varnish without losing quality and time.

The two printers with six colours, with claimed apparent 2,400dpi performance, cannot only print on vinyl but also other materials like fabrics and many other plastic films.

The advanced inking system, along with the non corrosive UV inks, are claimed to result in an reliable, virtually no maintenance machine designed to print on almost any substrate 24 hours a day, seven days-a-week.

Hary Gandy, president of worldwide sales for Gandinnovations, said: "Our new Jeti 1224 is a compact and economical flatbed specifically designed to give print shops the versatility they need.

We haven't lost the high speed print modes, we just added an advanced feature of 48 spectra heads to meet the high resolution needs of the printing industry." He added: "We continue to place emphasis on enhancing our software to print at the highest resolution without losing higher speeds.

You have to see it, to believe it.

The print quality and minimised production time is amazing.".
