New South African Operation For Gandinnovations

A Gandinnovations product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Sep 20, 2007

Increased service and support for South African users of Gandinnovations' Jeti printers following the opening of a new office in Midrand.

In addition to field service engineer Arnaud Bavajee, who has been placed by Gandinnovations in South Africa, the office will be staffed with additional technical service engineers, a colour management specialist and administrative staff.

Provision of Gandinnovations's Jeti inks will be made available locally and directly through the new office in addition to the South African operation stocking a full set of spare parts for immediate service response, said the company.

Gandinnovations has introduced a range of new printers to the market, such as the 48-head Jeti flatbed and roll-to-roll UV printers that are claimed to be capable of printing at speeds of up to 360 square metres per hour.

The latest development is the introduction of the Jeti Aquajet printer that is said to be capable of printing on to textiles without any additional curing or colour setting processes.

Gandinnovations believes that the new printer will open the door to customers to supply the market with a variety of applications, such as branded sun umbrellas, storefront canopies and sun shades, as well as flags, amongst other products.

Mehdi Berrada, Gandinnovations' vice president for Africa, commented: "We strongly believe in South Africa today and are very optimistic about the country's potential and future.

With the upcoming World Cup event in 2010, Gandinnovations will be ready to fully service and support its Jeti printer customers and provide them with the latest in technological developments to make it a complete and total success.".
