New Photo-Realistic UV Flatbed Digital Printer

The newest Gandinnovations grand format UV digital printer, the NanoJet UV true flatbed digital printer, is on view at the company's stand at Drupa 2008 - stand A23 in hall 5.

According to Gandinnovations, the Nanojet uses the latest in digital printing technology and is specifically designed to print photo-realistic quality outputs.

Equipped with a silicon nozzle plate, the Nanojet uses 24 Spectra high performance printheads.

The 15 pico liter head is designed to provide high resolution droplets.

Printing at claimed speeds of 220 square feet per hour (20.4 square metres per hour) in photo-realistic mode, the Nanojet has a print area of 4' x 8' and prints in six colours at 800 dots per inch using Gandinnovations UV-curable branded inks.

The vacuum table on the Nanojet is hold virtually any rigid material in place of up to 5cm (2") thick and the table uses a linear motion system to control movement, ensuring registration on rigid and flexible materials every time.

Said to be suitable for display printing on glass, acrylics, dibond, aluminum, wood, steel, coroplast, formboard and styren.
