As a result of the growing demand for a scratch-resistant matt film, GBC has developed the Scuff Free Matt film.

It is claimed to be suitable for dark-coloured brochures that contain images.

The scuff-Free film is a combination of polypropylene film with an abrasion-resistant coating.

The film provides a scratch-resistant, durable surface for protecting book covers and dust jackets, for instance.

The film surface won't scuff in production, shipping or handling claimed GBC.

"In developing new equipment and consumables, our first concern is to address the needs of our customers, helping them grow their business and find new opportunities.

By supporting complete finishing based on thermal technology, we can guarantee our customers a smooth and quality finishing process, increasing productivity levels and staying ahead of competition," said GBC's Giel Klinkers.
