By bringing finishing in house the average printer takes control of the job and also saves on transportation and the cost of out-sourcing." GBC said that the continuing development of digital printing with the decrease in run lengths and demand for shorter production turn-around time is driving and expanding the growth in market share for sophisticated laminating systems using pressure sensitive and thermal laminating films.
