GMG Appoints Two To Boost Sales In South East Asia

GMG has appointed Ivan Khoo as sales and marketing manager for the southeast and western operations of GMG Asia.

GMG has appointed Ivan Khoo as sales and marketing manager for the southeast and western operations of GMG Asia.

Khoo's primary responsibilities will be to establish and supervise GMG sales channels and manage several key customer accounts, supporting the company's resellers.

He has five years experience in the graphic arts industry.

He previously worked for Print Pack Publish Asia Magazines (Callahan Publishing Pte Ltd) as advertising manager responsible for all sales and marketing activities.

Before that he worked for Microsoft magazine as sales and marketing manager.

In a related move, Yan Wei Phin will assume expanded responsibilities as regional technical services manager for GMG Asia.

He will oversee all technical communications between GMG and the company's GMG partners in Asia, as well as supervising all training and support throughout Asia.

"Since the establishment of our office 10 months ago, GMG's south east Asia business has been growing rapidly.

Our distributors are performing very well and we are setting up installations in many major sites across the region.

With Drupa completed and armed with an entirely new portfolio of products, we believe that it is an opportune time to increase our investment in the region - to ramp up our momentum and broaden the reach of GMG Asia," commented Henry Ng, director of business development for GMG Asia.
