GMG, developers and marketers of high end colour management and proofing systems, has appointed Kayell NSW to distribute its products in Australia.

Kayell NSW is based Artarmon.

According to Johan du Preez, the managing director at Kayell NSW, the new partnership with GMG allows Kayell NSW to offer a more comprehensive product portfolio that will enable them to become a compelling partner for the graphic arts market.

He believes it will also allow the company to better serve Australia with proofing and colour management.

For Henry Ng, the area sales manager at GMG and responsible for Australia, Kayell NSW is an ideal partner to successfully establish the software in Australia and to achieve further growth.

He said: "Appointing Kayell NSW as our partner is an important step to be more present in Australia and to offer our award winning proofing software also in that territory.

We are convinced that with the help of Kayell NSW a lot of customers will quickly understand the advantages of our colour management and proofing and benefit on a daily base." GMG will exhibit its products at Pacprint in Melbourne (Australia) May 23-28.

The company's stand will be 941.

Kayell NSW has been trading for the past 35 years as a supplier of goods and services for the professional imaging markets.

Its activity also includes wholesale distribution for a number of photographic manufacturers.

To that end, Kayell NSW represents GretagMacbeth, GTI Lighting Booths, Colorvision and now GMG.

The company is also Epson's largest photo and design Prographics dealers.
