GMG's Sales Leap By 100 Per Cent

GMG's sales for the first half of 2005 by just over 100 per cent compared to the same period of 2004 and by 200 per cent compared to 2003.

The company also reported that the highest monthly sales in the company's history were recorded in June.

That improvement is as a result of long-term investments in worldwide distribution and marketing activities.

Sales outside Germany rose rapidly and now account for well over one-half of total sales.

Many countries and regions, such as the USA, Asia, and Scandinavia, recorded sales growth of between 150 per cent and 400 per cent, added the company.

However, significant increases were also achieved in established markets, such as Germany, the UK, France, Spain, and Italy.

The results demonstrate that GMG's investments in its own sales branches are paying off.

For the first time, GMG said it was also able to position its products successfully in regions like South Africa, Israel and the Middle East, as well as in Finland and a number of countries in eastern Europe.

Robert Weihing, the managing director of GMG, commented: "Our presence at numerous trade shows throughout the world early this year - be it with our own GMG booth, or represented by our distributors and dealers - was highly promising and gives us every reason to expect a strong second half of the year.

These expectations are also backed by new products that we will be launching in the next few months.".
