The systems have been installed at Picto's Paris sites - Picto Front de Seine and Picto Bastille and Studio Daguerre.

Always keen to be at the forefront of technological innovation, Picto migrated to digital proofing in 1996.

In order to increase the flexibility of the existing system, O2i, GMG reseller and pre-press and computer system integrator, recommended GMG Color-roof o4 for standardised digital pre-press proofing.

At the end of last year, Colorproof o4, the latest version of GMG's colour management software, was installed at three of the Picto sites to drive Epson Stylus Pro 4000 (eight-colour) printers.

Picto has a range of image processing specialists who endeavour to produce the highest quality results from files and originals submitted by its photography clients according to the final substrate.

The quality of image reproduction is paramount.

ECI approved (European Colour Initiative), GMG ColorProof o4 is claimed to offer precision, which is particularly important for Picto in its process of standardising production at remote sites.

We can now provide these services at a lower price, whilst ensuring certified professional quality." In addition to its GMG Colorproof o4 proofing systems, Picto has opted for GMG Proofcontrol o4 to provide colour-accurate proof control from spectral measurements.
