Proofing Takes Centre Stage At Print '05

GMG has announced will be attending Print 05 (stand 6136) and Proflex 2005 (stand 50) as well as IFRA (stand 2A 128) and Digital Proof Forum during September and October.

The company believes that its involvement in such a variety of trade shows, focusing on commercial printing, flexography and colour management, reveals a wide interest in its colour management software.

The highlight of GMG's autumn trade show schedule will be the company's attendance from September 9 to 15 in Chicago (USA) at Print 05 and Converting 05, where GMG Americas will demonstrate the full complement of the company's products, including some new introductions to both software and media.

The focus will be on Colorproof o4 for commercial printers and Flexoproof o4 for converters.

During September 13-14, at the University in Stuttgart (Germany) GMG, on stand 50, will be one of almost 100 companies exhibiting at Proflex, the flexographic conference and exhibition sponsored by the DFTA.

The company will be featuring Flexoproof o4, Proofcontrol o4 and its media.

The fifth Digital Proof Forum takes place September 21 and 22, at the University (Hochschule der Medien) in Stuttgart, Germany.

Developers of digital proof software will present their systems and compete to generate the best proofs.

GMG will participate with three systems all driven by Colorproof o4 and has the goal to score as exceptionally as it has in previous similar events in Europe and the USA.

Seminars will accompany the event.

At IFRA held in Leipzig (Germany) from October 17 to 20, GMG will show with one of its dealers, where software for the newspaper market will be demonstrated, including two different kinds of Newspaper media.

Robert Weihing, GMG's chief executive officer, said: "The first half of 2005 was exceptional for GMG and beyond our expectations, and we hope to capitalise on that same momentum as we enter the Autumn exhibition season.

Printers, converters, pre-press shops and agencies who observe how faithful our proofs are to press sheets become very strong candidates for Colorproof and our other products.
