Carter sees himself facing important tasks and commented: "The performance and efficiency of GMG's solutions, their great acceptance amongst the leading companies in the industry and the rapid growth of GMG were the key factors that swayed my decision in favour of GMG.

For several years I have been watching GMG becoming more of a standard in our industry.

GMG is the exemplary company that focuses on the quality of colour management and is, therefore, very successful amongst users.

I wanted to be part of this growing, exciting company and I am proud to have made it in to the team." Robert Weihing, the chief executive officer of GMG, said: "In the last two years, we placed key emphasis on strengthening our worldwide distribution system to become a global player.

Nordic and eastern Europe are markets that are very important to us.

Hence we are delighted to have Derek Carter on board.

With him we will establish and further strengthen our presence in these promising areas.

As a creator of colour management systems, GMG is increasingly playing a leading role.

Being a global player is demanding and we are constantly strengthening our team to provide superior customer support.".
