GMG, the supplier of high-end colour management and proofing systems, has increased sales in the first half of 2006, with the highest monthly sales in the company's history recorded last month.

GMG, the supplier of high-end colour management and proofing systems, has increased sales in the first half of 2006, with the highest monthly sales in the company's history recorded last month.

To date, GMG has boosted its sales in 2006 by just over 30 per cent compared to the same period of 2005.

That performance is also more than 150 per cent compared to the corresponding period of 2004.

Sales outside the company's home German market are sadi to have risen rapidly and now account for over one-half of total sales.

All relevant regions recorded sales growth in software as well as media sales.

Robert Weihing, the managing director of GMG, said: "We are very pleased with this development in sales, since it means an increase in almost every region.

Our presence at numerous trade shows throughout the world earlier this year - be it with our own GMG stand at Ipex, or represented by our distributors and dealers - was highly promising, and gives us every reason to expect a strong second half of the year." He added: "Our colour management systems - Colorserver and Inkoptimiser, performed exceptionally well and contributed disproportionately to the sales growth.".
